IBC 2022: Nowtilus Team Thriving among 37,071 Media-Tech Professionals
Updated: 5 days ago
IBC's first in-person event after 3 years attracted 37,071 industry professionals from 170 countries, including the Serverside.ai team from Nowtilus, to the RAI Amsterdam, from September 9 to 12.
“It's great to see, feel and hear the buzz of a live IBC once more,” said Micheal Crimp, IBC Chief Executive Officer. “The quality of visitors has been outstanding and there is a real sense of positivity.”
At Nowtilus we fully share this impression, and that is why our executives met a lot of valuable partners, customers, and prospects during the 4-days trade show.
"Finally reconnecting in person at this year's IBC was long overdue and it felt both impressive and rewarding to see the excitement of our partners, customers, and friends on the show floor and at our buzzing networking event", noted Nowtilus Head of Marketing Sebastian Strootmann.
Nowtilus, in fact, together with Unified Streaming, MUX, JWP, and Firstlight Media also organized the MeetUsAtTheTop networking night hosted in the elegant A'DAM Tower The Loft at the end of the first day of IBC's panels and discussions.
“We had a very interesting time there,” added Patrick Knippel, Nowtilus Co-Founder, and Managing Director, “we shook hands and forged relationships… there is a lot coming ahead.”
The industry-leading exhibitors at this year’s show were more than 1,000, including major media, entertainment, and technology players like Adobe, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Avid, Blackmagic Design, Canon, Comcast, Equativ, Fraunhofer, Google, Hewlett Packard, MediaKind, Microsoft, Red Bee Media, Sony, Telstra and many more.
Besides a rich sector exhibition, IBC 2022 offered a world-class line-up of headline speakers, with over 250 speaking at the IBC Conference, focused on the theme:‘What’s next? Designing the future together”.
"It was great meeting our partners from valued industry leaders such as Equativ and Red Bee Media,” said Ronald Wertlen, Nowtilus CTO, “and to co-host the exciting Loft-Event together with Unified Streaming; we also met other potential partners to create new synergies I am very excited about”.
There is nothing better than to usher in the new season with an in-person event of this significance.
Our team has already started to process the learnings and strengthen the relationships created during IBC.
The ultimate goal, as usual, is to create a high-quality viewing experience for users and a better return on investment for advertisers and, ultimately, publishers.
Meet us next week at Dmexco in Cologne to shed more light on the advertising perspective of the streaming ecosystem!
